Podcast We Love 🎤

The Coach With The Spider Tattoo” - The Tim Ferriss Show.

This podcast had a profound impact on my life.

Jerry Colonna is an executive and leadership coach. But before that, he cofounded Flatiron Partners, one of the top early-stage venture firms in the world, with the famous Fred Wilson.

In this episode, Jerry discusses how during his time at Flatiron, even though he had all the outward trappings of success, he was miserable. Not in despite of his success, but because of it.

He talks about finding out he was at the top of a mountain he didn’t want to climb, but simultaneously being terrified of changing and losing all the status he had attained.

How he just filled his days with work to keep busy to drown out the terrible anxiety and depression he lived with every day. Even though that work is what caused him tremendous internal turmoil in the first place. He was trapped.

But he also talks about how he escaped and found peace, and how he’s helped others find it as well.

There’s so much wisdom in this podcast that I can’t write it all here. If you feel stuck in your life and you’re not sure how to change, please give this episode a listen.

Even if Jerry’s story is different than yours, there are so many frameworks and tools that are useful for people who feel like they need to change their life but are afraid of what that change might bring.
